Boomers stars Dyson Daniels and Ben Simmons have both racked up good numbers in tight NBA wins for Atlanta and Brooklyn, over Chicago and Milwaukee.

The Hawks trailed 124-107 with 6:23 remaining on Thursday night and used a 23-2 run to take their first lead since the opening term.

Johnson added 15 rebounds and Trae Young scored 27 points, surpassing the 11,000 career-point mark, and added 13 assists as Atlanta (16-15) won their second straight.

Zach Levine scored a season-high 37 points for the Bulls.

Chicago’s Australian Josh Giddey missed his fourth game in a row with an ankle injury, but compatriot Dyson Daniels compiled 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists and one steal for the victorious hosts.

Another Boomers star in Ben Simmons was also involved in a thrilling win.

The Brooklyn guard/forward had eight points, four boards and nine assists as the Nets rallied late for a 111-105 victory over Milwaukee.

Cam Johnson scored 29 points and Noah Clowney added 20 for Brooklyn (12-18), who had lost eight of 10 before making 16 of 38 three-pointers against a Bucks squad playing a third straight game without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.

In Indianapolis, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tied his career high with 45 points to lead Oklahoma City to a 120-114 victory over the Pacers.

Gilgeous-Alexander hit 15 of 22 shots and all 11 free throws in the Thunder’s (24-5) ninth consecutive victory.

Jalen Williams scored 20 points and Isaiah Hartenstein had 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Western Conference leaders.

Jalen Green scored 30 points in less than 30 minutes on the court, and Houston cruised to a 128-111 victory over New Orleans.

Fred VanVleet hit seven three-pointers and finished with 25 points for the Rockets (21-9), who have won six of seven while climbing to second place in the West.

In a battle between fourth and sixth in the East, Tyler Herro hit a 19-foot jumper with 0.5 seconds left to give Miami an 89-88 win in Orlando.

Jalen Suggs, who scored 29 points for the Magic (19-13), missed a long jumper at the buzzer.

Herro finished with 20 points to help the Heat (15-13) come back from an early 17-point deficit and avenge a loss to the Magic last Friday in which they squandered a 22-point fourth-quarter lead.
