England will play two Tests against Argentina in July in their first tour of South America since 2017.

Steve Borthwick’s side are scheduled to face Argentina in La Plata on 5 July and San Juan on 12 July.

The fixtures clash with the British and Irish Lions’ tour of Australia so Borthwick will likely have a depleted squad.

England won both Tests during their 2017 tour of Argentina.

The most recent meeting between the two nations was the third-place play-off at the 2023 World Cup, which England won 26-23.

Argentina’s opening match of the summer comes against the British and Irish Lions in Dublin on 20 June.
